Lots of shops and hotels, nestled beside the high-rise businesses and swanky new apartment blocks. Transport links are excellent with several DLR and underground stations nearby. There are two large shopping centres as well as the Dockland Museum within walking distance.
Cool hangout place in the canary wharf district. Lots of restaurants and cafes along the lake. There is also a bar and a shopping mall nearby with the underground/tube stations within walking distance. Can be crowded especially in the weekends and at night.
Very nice Quayside in Canary Wharf. About 10-15min walk from Canary Wharf or West India Quay tube stations. Great views of Canary Wharf and number of fun activities in vicinity, with variety of pubs, bars, restaurants and boating activities.
Well worth a visit, plenty of bars with terraces onto the Quay. Possibly better to visit in the evening when it is possibly busy. Stroll along and look at some of the modern buildings and some of the old Victorian warehouses.
Good for shopping or just take a stroll.
Lovely to mooch around with all the sculptures. Went to Museum of London Docklands for Jewish east end tailors exhibition. Superb. So much better than similar V and A shows.
Nice wharf with a fantastic Museum. Staff is super friendly and helpful in explaining all questions

We were heading for a cookery session at Anne Smarts cookery school. We spent ages walking around the area. So much glass and steel mixed in with the old.
A nice little place where you can either enjoy a nice meal throughout the day, a couple of cheeky drinks during the night, catching a film at whatever time and everything in-between. …
